As well as the launch of the new Secret Postal Society website, yesterday saw the launch of my BRAND NEW single ‘Scars’.

‘Scars’ is my first solo single for 2025 and follows on from the critically acclaimed single ‘Autumn Leaves’ (which was in the Top 100 Indie Songs of 2024 by Eclectic Music Lover) and the charity EP ‘Embrace The Fear’, which I released with my good friend Guy Challenger.
Lyrically, ‘Scars’ is about how we all have our own scars - whether they are physical or emotional scars - that can affect us in different ways but with love, understanding and support we can learn to accept that these scars have made us who we are and we can start to heal and love ourselves.
Musically ‘Scars’ was influenced by the French cafe jazz music of the 1960s, with its accordion, lush string arrangement and hypnotic acoustic guitar arpeggio. It was recorded and mixed at my home studio and mastered by another of my good friends - Brandon Green (of the awesome US band Formerly Misinformed).
Released through Lonely Bear Records, ‘Scars’ is OUT NOW to stream and download via the Secret Postal Society website, Bandcamp (with a Bandcamp only exclusive acoustic mix) and all major music platforms.
